MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Membership Requirements

Membership in the FRGC/MGA is restricted to male players who currently hold valid FRGC player's cards.  Annual dues of $40 cover a 12 month period from October through September of the following year.  Players who join after August 1st, may do so for a reduced fee of $25.  The annual fee entitles the member to enter any of the events sponsored by the club during that period, however, there is an additional entry fee for each event.  The annual fee also entitles the member to attend the annual Awards Banquet and Membership Meeting, normally held immediately after our September event, at no additional charge, conditional on the ability of the MGA treasury to cover the cost.

In order to compete in any FRGC/MGA handicap event, a member must establish and maintain a valid handicap with FRGC.  The minimum requirement for doing so is to post the 5 most recent scores at the pro shop.  Until a handicap is established, the player must play as a zero handicap.  See the document on HANDICAP POLICY for more details.

Procedure to Join

  1. Obtain a membership application from the FRGC pro shop
                                    or
    Download the form from the FRGC/MGA website at www.frgcmga.com

  2. Fill out and sign the application.

  3. Return the completed application with the annual fee* of $40 to the FRGC pro shop
                                    or
    Mail the completed application  with the annual fee* of $40 to:

*-Fees must be in the form of cash or check made payable to FRGC/MGA.

Note:  In response to numerous requests, Lance Allen has agreed to allow use of credit cards in payment of FRGC/MGA fees under the following rule; if you make a purchase in combination with the MGA fee payment, there is no additional fee.  If you pay only for an MGA fee, there will be a $2 fee added to cover the transaction cost.

Note:  We also have a Hole-In-One Club which is listed on the Membership Application form.                     
If you want to participate in this Club, you must indicate so on the Application form                
and include the appropriate $ amount with your Membership Application payment.
